For many people in Helsinki The Cantores Minores Traditional Christmas Concert has been the one concert to make Christmas feel like Christmas. The Helsinki Cathedral has been packed by friends of the choir for over 65 years.

This year the concert had to be cancelled due to the Covid19 epidemic and the long tradition was in danger to be broken. To avoid this, we would like to offer our friends and supporters a chance to hear traditional Christmas songs and experience the fascinating story of Christmas in this Virtual CHRISTMAS STORY Concert, which has been recorded in November before the stricter corona regulations were introduced.

A group of Cantores Minores singers is conducted by Hannu Norjanen. Markus Malmgren plays the organ and the Bishop of Helsinki, Teemu Laajasalo, reads the passages from the Bible.
